ServConf (2022)

ServConf Crack ServConf is a free program that helps you manage your Windows NT/2000/2003/XP Services and Service Drivers and at the same time will let you keep tracking of Windows Events since it has an integrated Event Log viewer. Here are some key features of "ServConf": ■ comprehensible lists of either Services, File System Drivers or Kernel Drivers. ■ additional descriptions for most of the services and certain interactivity issues between them ■ full dependents / dependencies trees for each service/driver ■ the ability to edit the properties of each service/driver (this is still work in progress) ■ a list of load ordering groups and services belonging to them ■ structured Event Log viewer ( the possibility of filtering events is still work in progress) ■ the ability to take Snapshots of Start Type and Status of the Services and restore them at any time Features: *Comprehensible lists of Services, File System Drivers, or Kernel Drivers *Additional descriptions for most of the services and certain interactivity issues between them *full dependents / dependencies trees for each service/driver *the ability to edit the properties of each service/driver (this is still work in progress) *a list of load ordering groups and services belonging to them *structured Event Log viewer ( the possibility of filtering events is still work in progress) *the ability to take Snapshots of Start Type and Status of the Services and restore them at any time New Features: *the ability to ignore new services of the same name and not update the status of the inactive ones *the ability to auto re-enable services that have had their start type changed to manual *the ability to display the dependencies and order in which services are started *the ability to change the default start type from automatic to manual *the ability to add services by editing files on disk instead of being dropped into the system directory *the ability to browse most icons on the start menu on Windows XP (on the Image tab) *the ability to set a default icon for new services on Windows XP (on the Image tab) *the ability to set a custom icon for new services on Windows XP (on the Image tab) *the ability to display or hide files and folders by adding a comma to end of the path name *the ability to display the full path name of a program when no icons are found for it *the ServConf Download [Latest 2022] -- To create, modify or delete Service and Driver objects, users must have the 'S' account permissions on either the Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 server (usually created automatically for them as SYSTEM) or on the current drive the root of that server (usually located in c:\winnt\sys). -- 'ServConf Torrent Download' may not work as expected when you have a server with no current ( c:\winnt\sys ) drive, or when you have the 'S' account disabled on the server, because it needs to retrieve all the Service and Driver information from the \sys\drivers\ folder directly. -- In order to register a Service or Driver, users must have 'W' permissions on the current drive root (c:\winnt\sys or the root of the server drive). -- Event Viewer snapshot type is automatically set to "Windows Event Viewer" when the application launches. This type must be changed to another one in 'Services' configuration menu. -- The default configuration is to display the same 'Services' screen, not filtered by 'Service Name'. In the 'Services' screen, user can change the 'Filter' type and/or choose to display a list of only either 'Server Drivers' or just 'Driver Objects', depending on the preferred choice. -- When the application is launched (on demand), both Event Viewer and Name list are displayed in the right pane (thanks to mwhaley's enhancements of the frontend code). If 'Filter' type is set to "Service Name", both Event Viewer and Name list are filtered by 'Service Name'. The Event Viewer filters are applied right away, while the Name list filters are applied automatically at the end of the program's execution. There is no pause when this occurs, that's why filters on the Event Viewer are applied at run time. -- The installation package contains three different registration scripts: - 'Service.exe' for registration of Service objects - 'Driver.exe' for registration of Driver objects - 'Svc_Util.exe' for registration of Service Drivers as Windows Services The registration scripts should be used in conjunction with the name list viewer (Standard menu Item - View Name List). Once a Service or Driver has been registered, the name list viewer should be used to display its name, description, type and dependencies for that purpose. 91bb86ccfa ServConf Crack+ License Code & Keygen ServConf provides a clear, easy-to-use overview of the most critical components of your Windows NT/2000/2003/XP machine: ■ Windows Services running on the machine (service or service and driver) ■ The Kernel Drivers that are used by the Services (not the services themselves). ■ The File System drivers that are used by the Services (these are typically the ones that are used by a Storage device such as a Hard Drive) The concept was introduced by Tim W., to solve the growing problem of managing the list of services as well as their dependents and their interactions, etc. After Tim W. published the initial version of ServConf in 2002, following feedback his product evolved and now it has become much more complete. Now, ServConf can: - list all the services running on the machine; - List all the Drivers used by the Services; - List all the Service Groups to which the Services belong; - List all the Load Ordering Groups (already set in the Sysinit List); - list all the Services and the Direct Dependents (and Direct Interactors) of the Services; - list all the File System Drivers and the Direct Dependents of the Drivers; - list all the Kernel Drivers and the Direct Dependents of the Drivers. You can also add a service or driver to a group, if you have not already done so. And you can create a Service Group, which is a non-overlapping group of services, that all have a common Start Type. ServConf does not remove services from their groups, so if you have added a group, you are responsible for keeping track of that group. If you have added a service to a group but forget about the group and it no longer exists, ServConf will detect this and remove the service from the group. To help you manage the Windows NT/2000/2003/XP services as well as their Kernel Drivers, ServConf has an integrated events viewer. In addition to showing the events, ServConf can also take a snapshot of the state of the services, including the Start Type and the Status of the services. You can restore the snapshot at any time. After restoring a snapshot you will be able to check the start type and status of all your services. ServConf supports the following file system drivers: • fatfs • ntfs • ntfs-3g • ntfs What's New In ServConf? DBG The ability to export backtraces for Services or Drivers, which will basically be error messages (and sometimes even the diagnostic output). This can be useful when dealing with those rare events that you cannot reproduce and for which you cannot find a solution for. SRV The ability to execute a service directly on demand (by invoking it directly from ServConf) while the services are running. JMS The ability to create various types of Job Classes and schedule them to be run at various times by using JMS (currently only available as a command line tool). SERV The ability to execute Services directly from ServConf. SRVCON The ability to execute Services directly from ServConf and check their Status HDBMG The ability to open / edit the Service Database in Access if you want to modify the config file manually. SERVDIC The ability to open/edit the Service Config Files (conf, conf2,..., confn) and modify the various attributes (run at start, start on demand, start in debug etc) of a service. DISP The ability to open/edit the Driver Configuration Files (conf, conf2,..., confn) and modify the various attributes (driver name, start type, status, pnp,...) of a Driver. REP The ability to associate (edit) a driver with a specific service that depends on it (Runs in Debug mode only). TASK The ability to schedule Services (File System Driver or Kernel Driver), which can then be ran at any time on demand or periodically. EVENT The ability to view a list of all the events that have occurred in the system, as well as the ability to filter them by filtering only those for Services, File System Drivers, or Kernel Drivers. EXEC The ability to execute a Service from ServConf (Requires the execution of a Service on Demand). INQ The ability to execute a Service when a Service is not running (Requires the Service to be on Demand). PROPS The ability to open/edit service properties. A list of supported properties can be found by typing "properties". Etc Etc. I am not a fan of the GUI and might add a command line tool at some point.
